Chinese New Year 2009

I don't think it's too late to update about my CNY celebration. As I've said before, it's been quite awhile since I last celebrated CNY with my relatives or family even. But this time around I was lucky enough that CNY is within semester break. I finally got the chance to balik kampung like old times. Well anyway, as usual my CNY celebration was all about FOOD, gambling, food, karaoke, food(I think I gained few more kilos already just by saying this), and of course the most important thing, ANGPOW. Didn't get that much but good enough for me not to complain. Learn to be grateful, you see. heh.

The highlight of CNY was, I must say, the trip to Poring Hot Spring. hoho. We had a blast and we practically conquered one part of the 3-part pool that made only few of the other visitors dare to enter. We even stayed longer than what we had paid for. Haha. It was so much fun because all of us let our guards down and be all goofy and crazy. Nothing to be ashamed of really, when you're only around your cousins. I had my swimming lesson moments there and I think I got a hang of it.. kinda. At least I was able to float better and finally remembered how to swim and float on my back. haha. I wish I could show you a video of us having a race in the pool. I haven't watched it yet until now but I think It would be hillarious. Will post it here when I have it. Hehe. As for now, I only have few pictures to show.
