the pizza pic is the latest one by the way.

wee... another get-together

Dear Blog,

wowie..~ just now i got to meet up with some of my friends. specifically, they were achul, awang, nizar, tya, fendy, qayyum, zella and two of her friends, izza and her sis, farah. this little get-together was suggested by zella in the 1st place by the way.

anyway, nizar voluntarily fetched me up from my house after fetching achul and awang at theirs with his little white Kancil Perodua. then on our way to our destination, achul spotted a familiar red kancil on the left lane..turned out, it was qayyum! he was on his way back to his place. since it's been ages since we last saw him, we invited him to join us. we followed him to his house and then after he parked his car and dropped his family, he hopped into the car with us.

initially, the plan was to go hangout at Jesselton Point, but turned out that place was so dull and there weren't many people around. so we had a change of plan and wanted to go to tanjung aru.. but before we could do that, we would have to wait for tya, fendy and zella to come 1st because they were already reaching Jesselton Point. tya and fendy came not long after that.. followed by azella and 3 or her friends, izza, and the twins, afiqa and shit, i forgot the name. haha. after all was there, we made the decision to go to Tg Aru instead, but the twins couldn't join us because their brother wouldn't let them. moving on, izza's sister came to pick up azella and izza from there to tg aru while achul and awang joined fendy and tya, and i with qayyum and nizar.

reached tg aru..went at one of the kedai there.. duduk2 la tumpang mknan yg kna bli oleh drg c izza earlier from a stall(although at the restaurant there it clearly says "no outside food and drinks allowed".. tp paduli. hahah). and the rest of us only ordered drinks. my chocolate milkshake took a very long time to come. silaka btul. bila ku bilang cancel, baru knun pndai dtg tu minuman. nasib sadap. haha.

after that, nizar and i suggested to feast on some durians before we all go back. apa lagi, ada kan tu gerai durian sana ujung tu. haha.. so we bought some 4 small durians for RM28. we ate the durians by the beach near one of the small stairs there.. haha. mcm anak pelarian ni mkn2 durian. akkakka.. was quite fun actually. the guys were damn funny. awang with his lame joke("why does a banana go to c the doctor? -- because it's not PEELING very well" LOL!) and achul with his own("apa ada 8 kaki, 2 tangan, 3 kpala, sama 1 pasang sayap? -- orang naik kuda bawa ayam" ahhaha.. buduuu)

the durian session ended our little get-together. we managed to snap some few pics.. bid azella and his friends farewell and went on with our ways. nizar sent each of us back to our house and he also just found out that his car has a highlight. aduiii... kin malu ooo... brabis ni kna kasi katawa. akkaka. anyway, said goodbye to him and wouldn't be seeing him until next year i think.. huhu..

all in all, it was very fun. we talked a lot about everything in tg aru. especially with nizar and achul. haha. me and achul even got the chance to talk to nizar's gf(which is Joyce also btw. lol) over the phone! hahaha..

hah.. this small gathering reminds me of how much i really miss hanging out with them.. just wish that everyone was there though..

oh yea! achul plans to have a roadtrip for next year's break! within april-june.. hope everyone can make it! even myself.. hoho.. really looking forward to it!! getting all excited already.. hahaha..

wokei, till..then.. byebye ~!

bye bye bebehh~

dear blog,

on sept 17th, Aizat and i went to KLIA together for he had his own friend flying off to Ireland and i had Christina flying over to Russia, both on the same night. we reached KLIA around 9.30pm and we separated to our own ways; aizat to his friend, i to christina.. she was quite busy when i caught up with her. lots of official stuff she was handling.. didn't dare to disturb her at that moment. when she was finally finished dealing with whatever she was dealing, we went to a chocolate haven and since i didn't get her anything, i thought better at least give her some chocs.. well apparently that always works. haha. dissapointingly, she only picked out one pack of M&M's that only cost some RM14 when my budget for her lil "choc-spree" was 50 bucks! haha. chris..chris..nda bijak mengambil peluang kau neh.. hahaha.. so being unsatisfied and dissapointed with her choice, i grabbed one pack of hershey's dark choc kisses.. har har.. at least now she has 2 packs of chocs to eat in memory of me over there in Russia. LOL~ anyway, we didn't get to talk and hang out much because she was a bit out of focus and busy that night.. she was too busy focusing on nothing else other than the butterflies in her tummy. haha. she was so nervous at the thought of her long journey to Russia and the anticipation of her new life there as well. but at least i managed to hug and bid her well of tears could burst at any minute then when we hugged to say goodbye but she asked me not to, and therefore i didn't. haha. aizat and i left the airport at 11pm because we needed to catch the train and bus.. so, didn't get to stay until her boarding time which was at 12.30am...and last i heard, she was at Russia airport already. it was her bro, Matt who told me.. *big sigh* i don't have anyone to random call or text msg whenever i've nothing else better to do anymore... think it's high time for me to get a boyfriend. hahahahahah...haih... shit, emo time! haha. and the song i'm listening to now isn't helping at all! it's so mellow and all mushy2... damn you jack johnson. haha. alritey then, guess this is it. will pray that everything will go well for her there..~

MISHING U ALREADY BEBEHH~~~ uhuhuhuh.... :'(

see ya next year!! hope you can go online soon!~

this pic wasn't taken on her departure day by the way. this was taken few days before that.. will upload the ones taken at the airport..which is with chris! so gonna have to wait for her to go online first and give them to me. hahhaa..

Chiling Waterfalls

Dear Blog,

31st Aug, Merdeka Day, we had a day trip to Chiling waterfalls. There were 11 of us--me, sis Grace, sis Inden, cuz Abet, Ervina, Ah Fan, Vincent, Amy, Barry, Audra and Edgar. The trip was quite interesting. We had to do some jungle trekking to get to the waterfall. The trekking was not that tough and tiring, but i didn't have all the energy i needed because of lack of sleep--i didn't sleep the day before. hehe. Anyway, we had to cross some 5 rivers(5 or 6)! and it was exhilirating for me because i've never done jungle trekking where i have to cross rivers and stuff before. I can't really approximate how long did it take for us to reach the waterfall, but i think it was about 20 mins? well, maybe. Not sure. I was a bit out of focus the whole time
When we finally reached there, it was a relief for all of us. The waterfall was quite nice actually... but that day was really not our day because there were a lot of people besides us! was a bit dissapointing. but we conquered the place soon after. haha.

Then all of us took a dip in the pool.. and the water was damn cold! but i forced myself to stay in it. I had quite a fun especially when i made a dive into the water from the rocks! well...actually my dive didn't really turned out to be a dive. Okay, imagine you throw a piece of plank horizontally into the water and how it slams onto the water surface? yup, that's kinda how my dive was. hahahha! Kinda embarassing since there were other people there as well.. and not to mention some cute guys too! but i just laughed it off. hahaha.

I think i got sunburn from the combination of water and sun. My arms and thighs were the colour of roasted prawns. But i tried to shelter my face as much as i can because i tend to get dark easily. huhu..

Then it was time to go back..
felt like i didn't wanna go back at that time when i thought of how far away we had to walk back to the cars.. when going back, i seriously felt like i just wanna knock myself into the river and sleep. haha. Well, we made it back and i got blisters near my left ankle from the damn shoe. It was a nice trip though and we managed to take a lot of pics! as usual..the photos are as follows:

one of the rivers that we had to cross..

Sis Grace taking a piss in the river. wakakaka!

Ervina, 2nd person to take a piss in the river. LMAO!

there's a lot of fish there swimming with you!

hoho..the rocks i talked about. I'm not in the pic because i was still gathering up my courage to get there.. haha

i like this pic--Audra and Barry

Abet, Er, me and Sis Inden

Sumandaks!!-- Audra, Amy and Ervina

Sis Grace's hubby, Vincent

The Chenta's--Sis Grace & Ervina

Happy Birthday Malaysia

Dear Blog,

for merdeka day, my friends and I went to watch the fireworks
at Putrajaya International Convention Centre(PICC). The fireworks was fantastic!! and being a fan of fireworks since forever, it was a sight to behold. I feel like a kid again everytime watching fireworks. To get there was a dread though. The jam was SO TERRIBLE our butts literally went numb for sitting too long in the car.

In the end, everyone who was stuck in the jam somehow got fed-up and just parked their cars right in the middle of the road. So, since we were already getting bored and fed-up as well, we just went along with it too and switched off our car's engine and walked our way to the PICC area. We got there just in time! seconds after we reached there, there were already colourful explosions in the sky. Amara and I got so excited that we left the rest to get to a more closer view of the fireworks, and my God was it terrific. The traffic jam was all worth it. The fireworks lasted about 30 minutes, which for me is the longest fireworks I've ever watched, and the finale of the fireworks was the BEST!--the fireworks kept on booming one after another non-stop that the sky was made bright!! it was orgasmicly amazing! haha. My friend, Danny managed to take some photos of the fireworks.. although they're not as good as to justify what we witnessed ourselves, it's better than nothing.

Okie, as I said, here are some of the pictures taken during the fireworks..

and here's the finale bit..

looks greater live though..

and here is the firework-excited group... Danny took the pic and Din and Lionel were MIA when we took this pic. haha..
Agnes, Amara, me and Hanif

will definitely go and watch again next year!! haha..
till then,

Hey Look..

I can see a dog outside my window, sniffing around the garbage area..and hey look, it's peeing the place as well. haha.. it's really a wonder for me to see a dog hanging around in campus because frankly, i noticed that there are not really many dogs in sight here in the Peninsula. They have cats instead and LOTS of them! i guess it's because the majority of the society in the Peninsula are muslims.. so they'd like to eradicate as many stray dogs as possible and keep the cats instead. Actually the same thing is happening in my hometown as well.. but i don't think it's that extreme compared to here and dogs are not a rare sight for us there and the muslims there aren't that much of dog-haters or something. When i come and think about it, dogs can do a lot of good than cats. Cats basically just know how to catch rats and laze around the house and get all the comfort they need without the risk of getting eradicated. well i'm not saying we should eradicate cats here..
it's just that sometimes i really think that to eradicate stray dogs just because some people don't like them is not fair. and here's another thing, i heard that they SHOOT stray dogs instead of giving them homes(there are many people who'd love to have dogs as companions) or putting them to sleep, which is more HUMANE. It just disgusts me to think that they even have the heart to do that to another living, breathing creation.
how i wish i could do something to help even the slightest bit.

this makes me miss my dogs and home..
well, gonna be home soon.. i still have about 1 month plus before returning home for semester break.. can't wait.

and Christina's gonna come to KL soon! weepee~ can't wait to see her!

alritey, will update again later.. tata..

Mi Birthday

Dear Blog,

I know it's a bit late to be talking about my birthday which was exactly 1 week ago(Aug 17). Haha. But anyways, my main purpose is just to post some pictures here actually. I don't really know where to put all the pics. So i guess here is the most appropriate place to put up all the pics. By the way, there was nothing much during my birthday and wasn't really expecting to be celebrating as well because that very night of my birthday we were gonna have a midterm test. So it was really not the best time to be celebrating things. haha. Anyway, my friends were great enough to treat me with some late night birthday supper. Really appreciate it. It was REALLY sweet of them to do that. I even got cupcakes! haha. So enough blabbering, here are the photos...

Here's the whole gang. Me and Hanif spoiled the pic though. haha.

Another one in diff angle.

Me and Danny boy here.

Faiz kecik a.k.a Pak Aji

Bad Night-20.08.2007

Dear blog,

let's just say that tonight was really a bad night.
okay, first of all, we were going to cinema for Rush Hour 3 midnight movie.
Then on the way to and back from the movie, some bad and unexpcted
things happened along the way.. and it's basically because of
our own silly and clumsy mistakes..

so now, lemme list down the shitty things that happened:

1. The car which i was in(they were 3 cars all in all) rammed to a stranger's car and made a slight dent on it.
cause: a silly gangster "act" by our other friend from another car.

2. My purse which contains my IC, STUDENT ID CARD, ATM CARD, HOSTEL ROOM KEY, ROSARY and about RM70 CASH was lost or more like stolen. damn~

3. On our way back, my friend nearly ran through the divider when driving.

4. And now, i dropped my scrunchy at the mamak shop.

haih..i know it doesn't sound much. But it feels like it is for all these things to be happening in one night. And i think i'm the one who's experiencing the biggest impact here. I can feel a heavy burden in my chest now. Feeling a bit better though after i went for police report just now. I could feel some burden was lifted out of my chest.
Thank goodness i have helping friends. Can't express how grateful i am to have them.
I owe them a lot; the ride, the food, the patience, and everything. Will try to pay them back in one way or another later.

Haven't said anything to my parents yet. Will tell them about this later today.
I'm gonna have to get ready for a good long lecture..
because this is not the first time i lost things out of clumsiness and forgetfulness.
I have to be more careful and aware of my stuff from now on..
it's also sad because i was beginning to love that purse which i used to dislike which my sister had bought from Bali.

Now there's a lot of things i have to settle. So many places to go to settle everything and i just wish to get it over with fast. That also mean i'm gonna have to depend on my friends once again for the ride. *sigh*
I'm really a troublemaker..should stop being one.

note to self: BUY A HANDBAG/SLING BAG to keep your purse and other important stuff!! and stop being so carelesss!!

sorry mom and dad for being such a troublesome child..huhu.

ok, a bit tired now.

Passing Time

Dear blog,

okay, here's a little something i wrote just now when i was slacking studying.
it's not that good but i'm content with the result. ahah. by the way, i don't really have an idea for the title. hehe. anyhoo, here it is:

time sure knows how to fly fast,
how i wish i could make it last,
damn, exams are such a dread,
no wonder students say they're better off be dead.

oh well,
that's just a normal silly suicidal thought,
but hey of course i don't wanna die,
there's just so much more to life!

gotta get back to those damn pencil and books now,
and start studying till i become a clown.

don't get me started again,
is what the robot in 'Transformers' said,
and you know what?
i did not even remember it said that in the movie,
it was the priest in the church who told me!
rock on father, i shall not fail thee!

you see?
i'm letting time fly past me by again!
darn it,
i really have to stop slacking,
'cause my midterm is coming!!
i'm ciao-ing,

hehe.. k, guess that's it. tata.

miss lazy-ass

Wrong Aim.

Dear Blog,

why do all the guys i like never make a move on me?
well, that's not exactly true..there was one. but that was it, only ONE.
anyways, someone has recently confessed to me.
guess my hunch was right, coz i had already seen it coming.
i was praying that he would just keep the feelings to himself..
coz i really didn't know what to do or say if he let it out to me..
i thought hard as to how to respond to him..
and finally, when the time came, my mind went blank.
in the end, i had to say no coz i honestly didn't get the same feeling.
was a bit heartbroken to say no to him coz i didn't wanna hurt his feelings..
we are in fact friends..
he was okay but a bit hurt..
well, it's natural to get hurt when someone rejects you..
was kinda glad that it was settled..

he's still keeping his hopes up..
and i think i just boost that hope up for him..
coz i agreed to go out with him last night..
damn, why did i do that? i've no idea.
and now he's like all over the place about it.
he's so happy and all and talking about how his sister and father are suspecting things and all..
and now i'm getting teases from my friends who saw both of us last night.
yea, he's having his share too from his friends and family..
but i think he likes it..but not for me.
a bit tension now..
sould really like to talk it out and settle it once and for all..
but i don't really have the guts to do it.

i guess all i can do now is just hope and pray that someone will come in my way and take me away..hehe..but make sure it's someone i really like.
hehe..i sounded a bit greedy. ekekke..

well i don't wanna lie to myself and to him by giving him a 2nd chance.
and you know what's worse?
i think i'm having this 2nd thoughts of giving him that chance!
and oh yea, forgot to mention this, and you know why above all things i don't wanna be with him? it's coz i like his friend. rather close friend.
damn. i'm fishing another guy but the wrong guy took the bait. wrong aim indeed.
*sigh* but the one i like never make any move on me. that makes me hate him sometimes. haha.. but of course he doesn't know it. so would be stupid if i hate him blindly without letting him know that i like him which i will never gonna do now that his friend has confessed to me. that's just not right. *big sigh*
i shouldn't be thinking all this now. i got midterm tests coming up. but can't help it. it bothers my mind sometimes. but now i'm beginning to think less and less about it.

we'll just have to see how things go for now..

k now bloggie. tata.

miss confused.

Back To School

Dear Blog,

hey, once again, been awhile since i've been here.
just for the record, i'm no longer in Melaka campus..
i've moved out to Cyberjaya campus for my Bachelor years.

this place is like a dead city.
less plants, less ppl, less nearby eateries..
and worst of all..
all of my "geng karas" or good friends are staying in melaka.
therefore, it comes to less good friends..
ever since i got here, been hanging out much with Aizat, Danny, Lionel them all..
which is a bit odd at first, cause we've never hung out before
back in our Alpha year.
turns out, they're not that bad after all..
glad to have them as my new acquaintances.

and FYI, i just got back my CPU recently..
and ever since that, i've been on the net non-stop..
haven't done any studying yet..damn~
and gosh, look at my roommate, she's reading her notes now!
i should be doing that too since my 1st test is next week.Dough!
huhu..please take me away from this internet addiction. haha
i've downloaded quite a number of movies from our hostel server.
it downloads movies real fast! watched 2 movies so far. haha

for an unrelated story,
i went to melaka last week.
i went there simply to see my good ol' friends..
really miss em so much..
i met up with Lat, Mel, Sya, Bala, Roy, Hema and others
which i can't really recall. hehe..
we went to wach Transformers at the new cineplex nearby campus.
they have cineplex now! damn.
well, jo was supposed to come down with me to melaka
but he got sick and so he couldn't come.
therefore, what happened is, i had to go back alone
from Melaka to Cyber.
was a bit scared at first coz i've never been to kl alone..
what's more to travel and find my way back alone to campus!
anyway, i made it without getting lost at all.
was very proud of myself. haha.
at least now i know how to get to melaka-cyber and cyber-melaka

oh well, guess this entry is getting a bit too long already.
should stop now. and Sya, if you're reading this..
sudah2 la baca.. hahahha~

okay, turrah~

Hey Ho, It's Holiday Yo~

Dear Blog,

so finally, i'm done with my foundation studies...just yet.
now i'm back in my home sweet home..
looking forward to this sem break as most of my friends are in KK now..
schweet. I know.
kinda miss my friends back in campus though..
especially my supper-friends. hahha..
oh well, we'll sure gonna meet again someday..
only not as often as before but still, we're under one uni.

today my family and i did a roadtrip, a 12-hour roadtrip. we started off at 9am and
our route was:

well actually we went to ranau the day before to attend a relative's wedding. the roadtrip only started the following day, which was from Ranau. and it was enjoyable. we only made few stops to rest and for toilet breaks. but we did manage to go to Mah Hua Waterfall in Tambunan(if i'm not mistaken). we didn't actually get to go to the waterfall itself. only to the entrance point. haha. just to get to the entrance point was a 6-km ride and after that we will have to go by foot 500m more to reach the waterfall. so, since it would be time consuming, we decided to go to the waterfall some other time. then we carried on our journey. i was wide awake at all times when we were at the high lands.. 'cause i don't wanna miss out on the fresh and cold breeze, beautiful sceneries and everything good about nature's beauty. hehe. and i slept most of the times when we were at the low lands..'cause basically the low lands don't really interest me. it's just hot and flat. haha.

OH! and one more. on our way to Sipitang, it was raining and we saw some cars including a firetruck parked along the highway..and we could see there was a bit of commotion going on. so, we stopped and parked the car by the street and went out to check what was the commotion all about. we found out that a jeep had skidded off the road and tumbled down into the ravine! and i could see the jeep down below. a woman told us that there were 11 people inside the vehicle and all of them had already been sent to the Tenom and Sipitang hospitals. i was so shocked to see the jeep down below the ravine with my very own eyes. imagine what was it like for the people inside the jeep. and there were 11 of em! that musta been like a canned sardine pushed down a hill. i hope the victims are okay. i really do.

okay, after that we proceeded on our trip until we finally made it back home at around 7PM. today is already 2nd of June and all of these happened on 1st of June.
k, guess that's all for now..until then

Happy Holidays to me! haha. ciao.

Exam Mode, ON

hullo Bloggie,

don't really have anything interesting to say here..
just that i've just finished having my written physics lab test.
twas kinda hard. well of course it was since i didn't prepare well for it haha's a bit too late to regret now.

the rest of my final papers are gonne be in another 2-week time.
dunno if i can manage to study everything witihin that limited time.
wanna ask God for help, but dunno if He'll answer or even listen to my prayer..
i haven't been goin to church for 3 weeks now, u see? hehe =P

but, i'm still gonna try my luck
who knows He'll pity me and help me a bit..? hehe..
ahh..wishful thinking. none wrong with that right?
everyone has wishful thinking.

hurm..i'm seriously feeling bored now..
feel like going out, as in going out to town or simply joyride..
i miss night-joyrides..
wanna go jamming, even though i'm not that good at musical instruments.
but then again, i never played any instrument during jamming. haha.
my job is only to sing and boy do i miss that.
will definitely go jam our hearts out with my friends...
when i got back home for this sem break that is.

gosh, exam hasn't ended yet, or started even.
and here i am planning what to do for my holidays. haha
bad habits die hard they say. Amen to that.

wokey, dunno what else to say here.
heck, i didn't even know what to say in the 1st place.

dear blog,

hey long time didn't jot words in here.
just wanna say that i'm getting lazier for this semester..
dunno why..but yea, lazier. i mean, extremely lazy..
when i say lazy, i mean it in terms of study..
but in terms of relaxing or enjoying, i'm never lazy to do that..
been hanging out much with some of the guys in class now..
having supper for almost every night..
too often that i think i'm putting on some weight now..
and i think i'm calling it a rest for awhile..
so no frequent supper for me for sometime..

ok about studies..
not doing that seriously not well..
just failed my physics test..
and chemistry paper is tomorrow..don't think i can do it..
i don't know a shit about chem man..
at least i know something about physics..but zilch for chemistry..
that's why i'm so doomed.
haih..hope it would go well, although i doubt that.

mkay, i guess that's all..all i can say for 3rd sem is..
LOVING IT..(not in terms of study, of course) haha

k have a class to go to.

Sabah Agriculture Park

Dear Blog,

I followed my dad to Keningau again for the second time for the following week.
That was on Monday, stayed there until Thursday.
Anyway, dad brought me to Tenom for a quick trip since I had whined few days before that I've never been to Tenom. It was an approximately two-hour ride.
When we reached Tenom, dad headed straight to the Sabah Agriculture Park farther in.
I had earlier thought that the place will be filled with tourists or locals even, but when we finally reached there, the place was kind of dull and lifeless. Not too much of a tourist-attracting place.

Initially, there were only me and my dad. But later on, a group of tourists, which I guessed from Bangladesh or Pakistan or some place where the people have strong features on their faces; big eyes, with dark and thick eye lashes and eyebrows, prominent nose, hairy bodies, and etc. Anyway, Our timing was just right, a train-like cart was to arrived at 12.30pm to tour us around the park and we got there around 12.05pm. Nice right? I know. hahaha.

It was 12.30pm, and right before we took off, a mid-aged lady(which I later found out was from The Phils), which was accompanied by a little-more-than-mid-aged-local chinese guy joined us.

Our tour was guided by Alexius. And he was a GREAT tour guide. He knows everything about the park, which made our tour in the park the more interesting. Only me, the friendly Filipino lady and the chinese guy were loyally following him, listening, learning to everything Alexius says about the plants there. As for my dad, he was too lazy to go tour with me as he had already been there with my mom before this. The Banghla or Pakistani or I dunno on the other hand, went their own ways, taking pitures with the plants, sitting around doing nothing. No point at all going there if they just wanna take pictures without really trying to learn and know more about all those plants around them.

Anyway, I only managed to snap four pictures when my camera ran out of batteries. I was devastated. And a shortwhile after that, the Filipino lady's(sorry, for keep on repeating "Filipino lady". I forgot to get her name) camera ran out of batteries as well. It was disheartening. REALLY. But we didn't let that bother our tour.
After being amazed at all kinds of weird and beautiful plants with weird names, with thorough explanations by our oh so entertaining and informative guide, we ended our "walk in the park" with a walk in the fruit park or garden. We were allowed to eat the fruits there and that was awesome! I even got to eat some fruits that I've never seen, tasted and heard before.

Finally, after the fruit garden, we headed back home. Said goodbye to the Filipino lady, thanked Alexius and then we were on our way back home. I would love to go there again someday as this trip was not that satisfying, for I were not able to bring many pictures home. Next time, I'm gonna make sure my cam's batteries are fully recharged.

p/s: I feel a bit lame writing this entry, as I've written the same topic in my friendster blog. But I just feel like I have to blog it down here as well. I would feel "incomplete" if I didn't. hahah. What am I crapping about man? LOL.

Below are another 3 remaining pictures that I managed to take; 2 orchids and one weird plant:

Carmelite Convent

Dear blog,

as you know, I got home from melaka on last Tuesday. On Thursday I decided to follow my dad to Keningau(my dad was transferred to Keningau for work). We would be going back KK on Saturday. In Keningau, I basically lazed around. I caught up with so many movies. In fact, I did a 2-day-movie-marathon. After the movie marathon, I continued on reading a Sidney Sheldon novel, which I was close to finishing.

Thursday flown by..
gone Friday..
and came Saturday.

We left the house in Keningau at about 10 A.M something. Went to have breakfast and headed home. But before heading home, I requested my father to go see the carmel in Tambunan. The carmel was quite deep into the hills and we had to go through a bumpy ride to reach it because of the untarred road. When we finally got there, we went straight to the Grotto.

There was not a soul there. Only the beautiful statue of Mother Mary with her palms pressed against each other to form the usual praying gesture, a big string of rosary beads hung on her right hand. There was a small amphitheatre overlooking the grotto and a small bridge connecting the amphitheatre to the grotto. And not forgetting a small stream of river just below the grotto. The place is so serene that I was overwhelmed with a sense of calmness throughout my being there.

I took some pictures there and took a time alone to pray infront of the grotto while my father went to take some more pictures. I looked up at the Blessed Mother's caring face and felt warm inside. I said some prayers and few drops of tears rolled down my cheek. I wasn't very sure why that happened, but my heart felt tingly and an overwhelming mixed of sensations. But, there was a thing or two that I was thingking and praying about that have contributed to those tears.

Before leaving, I sat for awhile at the amphitheatre looking at the grotto. Then, headed back to the car. I hoped She heard my prayer, I thought. Would like to go there again someday.

We finally reached home around 3 or 4 in the evening safe and sound.

Welcome Home

Dear Blog,

sorry for the delay. I couldn't get through my blog last night. I planned to blog out my arrival first thing when I reached home, but then to no avail. Thus, all the coming-home-excitements are gone.

Anyway, our plane safely landed on Terminal 2's airport at about 8.40PM, almost 9PM.
There was quite a bit of delay when getting our luggage back. Lat's family was already outside waiting for her, and Mel, her sister, while waiting for our luggage. My parents were the ones who was to fetch me up, but they were just on their way. Therefore, I was left to wait for my parents all alone, for Lat and Mel were long gone. But it didn't actually took a long time for my parents to fetch me. So, I was not upset. hehe.

Reached home, kissed all my dogs, took a shower, had dinner, continued on reading the Sidney Sheldon's If Tomorrow Comes, and onlined until 3.30AM. At first I was excited to be home, but then that excitement soon faded away due to exhaustion and the thought that I don't have all my friends to get crazy with. But still, there was Jerry.

That's the end of my welcome-home.

As for today, I met up with Jerry and Awang at Kedai Jawa, our favourite hangout spot during highschool, for brunch. After so long I finally met up with Jerry. She was sooooo cute!! her face was puffier but her figure maintained slim. Felt like pinching her two round cheeks. haha. As for Awang, he didn't change from the last time we met, which was during Raya last year. After Kedai Jawa, we went to our former highschool to check on our SPM certificate. But found out that it will only be out around this end of year. Devastated, we dragged ourselves out. But before we could do that, our former teacher saw us and I accidentally saw her as well, and gestured to Jerry and Awang of the teacher's presence. Out of politeness, we went and greeted her(we coulda just pretended we didn't see her coz our backs were facing her, but then stupid me saw her). Then, as usual, the typical conversation between a former highschool student and its former teacher began and consequently, the FAQ of "where are u schooling now?", "what course you taking", "why didn't you go (somewhere somewhere)?", and so on by the former highschool teacher. Nevertheless, the conversation went by fleetingly. Thank goodness.

After that, we left the school and went to the stationary shop as jerry wanted to buy an envelope for Lynna's handphone. Yes, wanted to post Lynna's hp to Labuan because Lynna asked her to. Personally, for me, that sounded a bit irrational. Who would want his/her hp to be posted out in an envelope? and not to mention a VERY expensive hp. At least, send it in a box or something. LMC is going to have a one-week break soon and she could just wait until that day come to get the hp from Jerry. But who am I to judge. hehe. It's not mine anyways. Yup, sounded so selfish. Hate that sometimes.

Anyhoo, while Jerry and Awang were at the stationary shop, I went to say a quick hi to Sally, my classmate back in highschool, at her shop, which was just next to the stationary shop and in front of our old highschool. She didn't change much in terms of attiitude. Still the shy ol' Sally. haha. She was still sweet as before. Didn't talk much as she had things to do. After Jerry got her envelope, Awang left us for home a few minutes later. He wanted to catch up with the bus before the school kids got out and crowd the bus station. And plus, he had a stomachache. Then, it was left with me and Jerry.

A guy was to bring Jerry out around this time now. She didn't wanna go alone with him and asked me or more like begged me to go with her. But I said no. Then, the guy finally arrived to fetch her up and I was about to go home until Jerry asked him whether or not he could send me home as she pitied me for the trouble of getting on a bus to go home. I think that was just her excuse of wanting me to get in the car with them. haha. He said yes but I declined the offer. But Jerry insisted and I gave in. To tell you the truth, I was embarrassed but just kept cool. It was the least I could do for her after feeling guilty of not accompanying her to go with him. Turned out, it was OK and Jerry finally got the chance to see where I live after so long of being friends. She even used my toilet. hahaha.

I said my thank-you to the guy and bid farewell to Jerry.
Nothing special for this day but glad to finally see her.
And FYI, the guy was not her bf. Just a mutual friend. Jerry alrady has a bf.

So that's my story for last night and my long, detailed story for today.

Home, I'm Coming...

Dear blog,

at 6.20pm tomorrow I'll be flying home. Yes, that's my flight for tomorrow. Can't wait. But I'm not as eager to go home this time as I was on my last semester break. But still, I can't wait to go back home. There's no place like home they say, and I second that. By the way, I just bought a rather HUGE hiking bag to bring home tomorrow. Imagine an already plumped girl with an average asian height(which is quite short) carrying a huge hiker's backpack. That's quite an amusing picture if you'd ask me. Oh well, who really cares right? As long as I get to bring all the things I want to bring home. That's all that really matters.

I'll be flying home with Mel and Lat and who knows there might be others, probably Mel or Lat's friends. As for me, I'm pretty sure I didn't bring anyone to come with us. Unlike last time, we're gonna take our flight from Johor airport. Just to try something new, but Lat and I think that maybe next year we'll just stick to KL airport; less fuss. In the meantime, I haven't finished packing because one of my pants hasn't dried yet. Have to wait for it to dry first, and only then I can complete my packing(I know, I know. Sounds like a cover up for my plain laziness). As you can see, I like to dilly-dally things. I admit that. No surprise there, been like that since I dunno when. I do realize it's not a good attitude to cultivate though. Therefore, I think I should add my New Year's resolution list with "Stop being a procrastinator and a lazy bum". hehe. I'll try to work on that. Seriously, I will.

Moving on. Our agenda for tomorrow will start in the morning. Our bus will take off at 10.30am and that means waking early in the morning to catch the bus. Then, Mel said that Melaka-Johor ride was gonna take around 3 hours or so. After that, she said that we had to take another bus to take us to the airport and that ride was gonna be about an hour or more. I dunno, but since she's the experience, I'll just have to assume that everything she's said is true. Mel and Lat has estimated the time taken for all those rides before reaching Johor airport(I practically didn't do anything, it was them who did all the estimations, calculations and so on. Guess they didn't really trust my sense of judgement, and I don't blame them. Besides, they're the elder ones-me still shmall ;p). We're gonna reach the airport around 4pm or 5pm. Then check in and just wait for the boarding time. wuhu~!! and maybe while waiting, we're gonna just chill and take a drink or even have an early dinner(that's actually my idea, dunno about them though). All right then, I think that's all. Can't wait for tomorrow. More updates coming during the holidays(...maybe? ;p)

Weeeeepeee bloggie!!

FINALLY! My exam is finished! woohooo~!
Now I can LAZE around as much as I want to, you know why?
because it's HO-LEE-DAE! har har har..

For this semester break, I plan to try and make the full out of it as my previous semester break kinda sucked; I just sat at home, fed the dogs, cleaned the dogs' "home", bathed the dogs(it's like I devoted myself to my dogs for that holiday), watched TV, onlined for hours untill my ass went numb, etc and repeating all of them again and again everyday. What a waste. Hope this time will be a bit better. But it's hard to enjoy my holiday without friends. FRIENDS are the ones who always make my outings interesting. Most of my friends are studying at Labuan Matriculation College but when they're on their holidays, we in MMU are on our study week. Urgh. It'll be the same case when I go back home this Tuesday. There will only be a few of my good friends left in KK. The rest are at LMC or at their respective colleges and universities in Peninsula Malaysia. Dammit. This is what you get when studying in private uni. The holiday timings are not synchronized with public education institutions'. Consequently, I always get left out when my friends do gatherings back at home. Not fair. But no worries, I'll be meeting up with my LMC friends soon. They will have a break on the 19th(or 18th) and in the meantime, I'm looking forward to meet Jerry! She's one of my good friends who's studying in Australia and now she's back in KK for holiday after being in Aussie for so long!(well aboout a year or so to be exact hehe). Hope I could see her in time because she's heading to KL on the 11th or 12th and will spend the rest of her holiday there and will head straight back to Australia afterwards. *sigh* wish she could stay a bit longer. But nevermind, I'm just glad that she's still gonna be there when I come back home later this Tuesday. At least we still can meet up right?

Meanwhile, since I still have like about 4 more days before I fly back home, I plan to explore Malacca. Well, of course not the whole of Malacca, only the interesting places around the town area(no car bah..only public bus. No money to rent a car either, but that's a thought though. It shall be considered then. Hehe)

Well, since all's said. Just wanna enjoy my holiday and all the best to Lat and Mel for their last paper tomorrow~

Mom and dad, I want money for shopping, and for buying a new set of rechargeable batteries and its charger so that I can finally move away from cam-whoring using Lat's little mobile phone camera to a more decent digital camera.

I'm gonna keep on saying that until the day comes when I finally step the lovely ground of North Borneo. huahuahua.

Dear blog,

finally... the 2nd paper(Calculus) is history. Just another one more left. Physics II. Till that day came, I'm just gonna talk about my Calculus paper for today. Well, I think I did ok, at least I didn't leave many blank, unanswered spaces. BUT, I can't be too confident yet as most people said that it was hard. I couldn't stop saying my prayers during exam. haha. It was kinda pathetic of me when I come to think about it. Well, I was desperate ok and still is. In the meantime, as usual, Miss lil-Lazy-Ass here haven't started doing her Physics revision for today. Seriously man, I am so tired of doing revision. I had to stay up late last night until around 3am just to do a last-minute Calculus revision and the exam was gonna be at 9am. Imagine just how little I slept for exam(but still can't beat Mel and Lat's record for not sleeping the whole night before their paper). I was very drowsy during exam but I managed to pull through. wuhu~ and now here I am, blogging and have been online since noon and now it's already about half an hour to 3pm. You see how indiscipline I am? *sigh* temptations man..I blame it on temptations. I'm telling's hard to resist them. Too good to pass up the chance. hahahaha.. Joy, Joy..when are you ever gonna change? hey, old habits die hard OH-KAY! what da heck? I'm answering my own question. Goodness... I'm telling you, this is what exam week does to you. They drive you out of that little "sane" box in that head of yours. Wokie-dokie, it's time to sleep. Sleep first, study afterwards. hahahahahaha... phew, I'm mentally and physically exhausted..better go now.

Another one more left! ONE MORE!!

Oh and before that, I just wanna let you know that I've already watched the leaked video of Sadam's hanging just now. I got goosebumps watching it. Now that he's finally gone, I don't think it's the right decision to kill him. Heck, I never thought of it as the right decision from the very beginning. He was hanged during Aidiladha summore! I don't blame them Sunni Arabs for getting furious. That's just plain irrespectful. They coulda just let him live for a couple more days and go celebrate with his family for one last time. Hey, I'm not saying that I'm siding him or anything, it's just not right for me. Anyways, personally, I think putting him on a life-sentence is better. At least let him suffer for what he did. Hanging him to death is like being too easy on him. But of course, the after-life would be hell. And now the act only provoked the bad more than the good. They just pulled the trigger for more war break-outs. C'mon Bush, you should know better.

Watched the video on and here's the link: Saddam's Last Moments...

Not sure how long the video is gonna remain there because it's an unauthorized video. So, I think it won't be long before they take them(the video is all over the internet man!) down.

and here's the report about the unauthorized video:
Saddam Execution Video Leads to Arrests

OK, turrah~

Dear blog,

just finished my Engish II paper earlier this morning. I didn't really get enough sleep the night before. I was having a mental block during exam and consequently a very bad and lousy essay and summary were written for the writing part. Urgh.. it was probably the lack of sleep. *sigh* why do I always tend to screw things up? I hope I'd score well though. Who knows right? Maybe I did well after all. OK, that was just me comforting myself. I didn't even finish all the Q's. I think there was one more question left unanswered. Oh well... all's done. Nothing I can do now. Just hope for the best. I'm really hoping that my continuous chants of Hail Mary everytime before I go to sleep and before I answer the exam paper worked(not even sure if that's the right prayer for exam ;P). hahaha.. OK, OK..tmorrow is my Calculus paper. Surprisingly, this time I'm not as nervous as I was during last sem. Maybe because this time I actually did my revision and not-so-last-minute like last time(I'm a self-confessed last-minute creep). But still, the butterflies are still there. Can't really make them go away, it's totally natural to be nervous before exam. Instead, you should be worried if you don't. Well, I guess that's about it for today. Oh, and a little more addition. I give my salutation to Lat and Melanie for they practically did not sleep the night before exam. Now both of them are sleeping soundly like two big babies. nyaihnyaihnyaih..~

1 DOWN, 2 MORE TO GO! and home here I come~!

Exam Fever

Dear blog,

I'm getting a bit fed-up of studying. I'm the kind of person who easily gets tired and bored of studying, especially for something that doesn't interest me. I've been going to the library to study for the the whole week non-stop and it's wearing me out. I've just finished revising calculus, and haven't even started on my Physics yet and exam is another 2 more days. I've a feeling that I'm gonna screw up during exam. *sigh*.. and the worse thing now is, I don't feel like studying anymore. I'm sick of it. urgh. Maybe it'd be different if I were at least interested to study the subjects. God, help me. Help me get my momentum back. It's just hard for me to start again once I've started to laze around even if only for a short while. urgh...Quantum Physics. Radioactivity. Electronvolt. oh my goodness...frankly speaking, I really don't have any idea for any of those topics. Too complicated for a simple mind like mine. *sigh*. I know it's not nice to complain. I myself don't like to listen at people who like to complain. It irritates me. I could complain to my roomate if I want to, but since I know how irritating I would sound like to her, I just spare her aggravation and just complain it all out here. I can go on complaining and rambling like this but I guess it wouldn't do me any good. So, I better go study my Physics now. Hope I won't fail. I'm doing all this for my parents' sake. I dont' wanna dissapoint them as I love them with all my heart. If it weren't because of them, I woulda backed out a long time ago. God help me, give me the strength. Make me wise, guide me please. I'm not asking much, just at least let me pass. I only wanna get this over with A.S.A.P!

Then I'll be flying back home again...~ aahh...the comforting thought of home. Just thinking of home is sufficient enough to motivate me to study. OK! STUDY TIME! huahua..~

till then, ciao bloggy.
